Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how SiteConversor.com collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website at https://siteconversor.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how our service works.

1. Local Processing — How Our Tools Work

SiteConversor is fundamentally different from most online conversion services. All file processing happens entirely within your web browser, on your own device, using client-side technologies such as JavaScript, the HTML5 Canvas API, WebAssembly, and open-source libraries including PDF.js, heic2any, jsPDF, UTIF.js, and QRCode.js.

When you upload a PDF to convert to JPG, compress an image, or generate a QR code, the file data is never transmitted to our servers. The file is read directly by your browser, processed locally, and the result is made available for download — all on your device. We have no technical capability to access, view, or store the files you use with our tools.

This architecture makes SiteConversor appropriate for use with sensitive documents, personal photographs, confidential business files, medical records, and any other private content you wish to convert without risk of data exposure.

2. Information We Collect

While we do not collect the files you process, we do collect certain limited information to operate and improve our service:

Usage Analytics

We use anonymous analytics tools to understand how visitors use our website. This data includes page views, general geographic region (country-level only), browser type, and device type. This data is aggregated and cannot identify you personally.

Language Preference

We store your selected interface language in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

Server Log Data

Like most websites, our hosting servers automatically log basic request information such as your IP address, the pages you visit, and the time of your visit. This data is used for security monitoring and server diagnostics, and is retained for a maximum of 30 days.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Language Preference (localStorage)

We store the key site_lang in your browser's localStorage to remember your language choice between visits. This data never leaves your browser.

Google AdSense Advertising Cookies

We display advertisements provided by Google AdSense. Google may set cookies on your browser to show you relevant ads based on your interests. These cookies are controlled by Google, not by SiteConversor. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings page.

4. Google AdSense and Third-Party Advertising

SiteConversor uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on users' prior visits to our website and other websites. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting the Google Ads Settings page or by visiting aboutads.info/choices. For more information about how Google uses data, please review the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Data Security

Our website is served over HTTPS (SSL/TLS encryption), which protects data in transit. Since we do not receive or store your files, the primary security benefit of our service is the elimination of server-side risk entirely. We implement reasonable technical safeguards for the limited server log data we do collect.

6. Children's Privacy

SiteConversor is a general-purpose utility tool and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Your Rights (GDPR / LGPD)

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export any personal data we hold about you; to object to certain processing; and to withdraw consent. Since we collect minimal data, most requests can be satisfied by confirming we hold no personal data linked to your identity beyond anonymous server logs. To exercise any of your rights, contact us at the address below.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to exercise your data rights, please contact us:

We aim to respond to all privacy-related inquiries within 5 business days.
